Swiss Health Data Space (SwissHDS) is a data space project from DigiSanté. DigiSanté is the Federal Department of Home Affairs’ programme to promote digital transformation in the healthcare sector, which is being implemented by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) on behalf of the Federal Council.
SwissHDS is a virtual space that enables secure, legally compliant, fully automated and standardized data exchange. SwissHDS comprises the processes and IT systems of the specialised domains and actors within the healthcare sector. These processes and systems comply with the rules and specifications for interoperability and trustworthy handling of health data.
