Federal Chancellor's staff office

The Federal Chancellor's staff office provides support in organisational and administrative matters, and in preparing Federal Council meetings and the follow-up work to the meetings.

The Federal Chancellor's staff office supports the Federal Chancellor and the vice chancellors on all organisational and administrative matters. The office is also responsible for the preparation and follow-up to the Federal Council meetings and the Chancellery’s management committee meetings, and acts as a point of contact in matters relating to parliamentary items of business or other major policy issues. The assistants to the Federal Chancellor and the Vice Chancellors, the chauffer, the usher and the specialist advisers are all part of the Chancellor's staff.
