Federal ICT strategy and planification

The Digital Transformation and ICT Steering Sector DTI has the task of developing and implementing the federal digitalisation strategy.

Federal Information Technology Ordinance FITO

The basis for the federal government’s ICT strategy is set out in the Ordinance on the Coordination of Digital Transformation and ICT Steering in the Federal Administration (DTITO), which was adopted by the Federal Council on 25 November 2020. It sets out the tasks, competences and responsibilities regarding the steering and management of ICT at federal level.

Strategic IT Planning procedural methodology

The preparation and maintenance of IT strategies within the Federal Administration follow the Strategic IT Planning (SIP) procedural methodology.

Federal Digitalisation Strategy

The Federal Digitalisation Strategy 2020–2023 focuses on the changes required to align federal information technology with future business needs and to optimally support the administrative business in the context of its digital transformation.
